Wychwood Brewery Seasonal Cask Ale Programme 2004
England’s Ale-bent on winning!
To coincide with the Euro 2004 football championships in June, Wychwood Brewery of Witney, Oxfordshire, is celebrating England’s imminent success in Portugal with ‘England’s Ale’, a robust and satisfying brew at 4.0% abv.
Jeremy Moss, Head Brewer at Wychwood, combines crystal malt with English Goldings hops to make a full and fragrant beer with rich citrus fruit and delicate Maris Otter barley malt flavours.
Jeremy Moss comments:
“My goal was to kick off the competition with a beer which combined a good head with powerful body and a real stylish finish. I think we’ll definitely hit the spot with this one.”
Publicans will receive a free England's Ale T-shirt with every cask of England's Ale purchased in June while stocks last.
NB: England’s Ale 4.5% abv is available as an off trade exclusive to Sainsbury’s, in store from the end of May. |
