Brakspear’s Reasons to Be Joyful

December’s seasonal cask ale from Brakspear sees the return of their classic ‘O’ Be Joyful, first brewed in 1993. It is a rich, warming beer at 4.8% abv with a dark and fruity complexity.

Black and Crystal malts and dark brown sugars have been blended by Head Brewer Jeremy Moss to give a rounded flavour, reminiscent of dried fruits and Christmas cake. Fuggles and Goldings hops balance the sweetness with a good citrus punch.
