Refresh UK introduces Responsible Drinking Labelling

Refresh UK are introducing responsible drinking messages on all of their small pack beers, including Hobgoblin, Brakspears, Manns and Lowenbrau.

The new designs are being phased in as existing packaging material stocks are exhausted. Many of the new labels are already on the shelves and all new can and labels incorporate the new standards. Links to the Drinkaware website also appear on all Refresh’s websites.

Refresh’s Brewing and Brands Director, Stuart Hawthorn, comments:

“All the new packaging incorporates the BBPA standard unit labelling symbols together with a responsible drinking message and a link to the drinkaware website. We fully support the BBPA initiative and decided to move fast so as to help spread the ‘responsible drinking’ message.
