Wychwood

Nine out of ten canines prefer……

Oxfordshire’s Wychwood Brewery has announced that its seasonal cask ale for October is, unquestionably, the Dog’s Bollocks.

Dog’s Bollocks was first brewed in 1994/5 and quickly became popular with the student market. Described as ‘big, round and fruity’ on its pump clip, Dog’s Bollocks is 5.2% abv and a full-bodied golden (retriever) coloured brew. It combines crystal malt and malted wheat for body with Styrian Golding hops from Slovenia, which give a succulent bite of citrus fruit flavours.

Jeremy Moss, the Head Brewer at the Witney Brewery commented:

“Nine out of ten St Bernard dogs interviewed said they would much prefer to carry our flavour-packed beer and that their owners were barking to continue with the brandy myth. A good nip of Dog’s Bollocks would be enough to bring anyone round.”
